Quincy Masjid

Sharon Masjid

The Sharon Mosque, founded in 1993, is a significant institution in the Islamic community of Sharon, Massachusetts. It was established as an extension of the Islamic Center of New England, which was founded by Lebanese American immigrants in Quincy, Massachusetts. The mosque is situated on 55 acres of land that was formerly used for a horse farm. The main building serves as a social hall, accommodating 500 people, while the second building houses an Islamic elementary school, Al Noor School. The mosque’s history is marked by the contributions of its first Imam, Talal Eid, and later Imams like Muhammad Masood and Khalid Nasr.
