Our chat group includes other converts and also the Imam and his wife, which makes it an excellent place for support, questions, or friendship.

We have meetups for converts several times a year. Please contact us if you’d like to be notified of the date for the next one.

New Muslim "Buddy Program"

The first few years after becoming Muslim can be challenging! Questions come up about everyday things, and it’s not always easy to know where to find answers. Plus, it can sometimes be tricky to figure out how to get involved with community events and activities. For this reason, ICNE has a “Buddy Program” for new Muslims.

We can match you up with someone from our list of trained volunteers, who will be your go-to person for anything that comes up while you’re getting settled.
Our volunteers, many of them convert themselves, understand life’s challenges as a new Muslim in America, and are happy to help you figure out the logistics.
They will also introduce you to the community, and attend some community events with you, to help you get acquainted.
